Dani is motivated by the belief that health and care should be patient centered, and having an appreciation of the challenges some people face when attending clinical appointments, his drive was to establish an unique clinical service to deliver the highest standards of prosthetic care, at clients’ homes. At Swift Prosthetics we continue to offer the UK’s only prosthetic home care service as well as a new clinic in Lancaster
Dani has a wealth of experience having worked with people with all levels of limb loss, including the complexities of caring for multiple limb loss amputees. Dani finds working with individuals to achieve the best possible outcome, in respect of both quality of life and independence, the most rewarding part of his job.
With a keen eye for detail, Dani prides himself on ensuring the optimal fit when prescribing prosthetic sockets. He also has extensive training and experience with microprocessor-controlled knees and feet.
A particular interest is the application of new technologies and how these can be of benefit to those in the amputee community; leading him to established Exo Prosthetics, to design and manufacture custom-made 3D printed exo-skeletal prostheses. The access to design & manufacturing resources outside of typical prosthetic prescription pathways means he can produce one off, commissioned prosthetic solutions.
